The Hidden Secret to Happiness

Amazon lists more than 100,000 results when you search for “happiness books”. This is just books. This doesn’t contain all of the podcasts, documentaryaries, articles, or other content.

It is difficult to find happiness in this world of more security and comfort. In the U.K., a 2015 poll showed that 40% of people were unhappy and that only 10% of people are happy. It was like my life was falling apart. I was overweight, unhealthy, unfit and sometimes depressed. It was overwhelming. I felt like I was losing my way. Anything that deals with self-help and personal growth is a good choice.

What’s the secret ingredient?

Although all the advice was valid and helpful, it wasn’t the best. It was incomplete because it failed to recognize the fact that everyone is unique and there are many ways to find happiness. These are all great, but they often overlook the fact that everyone is different.

You can’t be happy if you don’t know yourself. It doesn’t matter how many books or how much you follow the advice. What matters is that you know yourself. It’s possible to view the advice within the context of your life, and then to act accordingly. Try one that helps you to get to know yourself better. Find out what and who you are. This will bring joy to your life, and every aspect of your existence.
